Green Iguana Tours
The proceeds from your visit to learn about Iguanas go to educate local youth on the importance of protection of this species, and to its reintroduction into the wild.
Many of the thousands of animal species that make their home in the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge are in danger of extinction, among them the Green Iguana. This reptile is perhaps one of the most representative animals the Caribbean. Watch a 20 minute educational video and check out the iguana in its natural habitat. Proceeds from your visit to The Iguana Verde Foundation, a Dutch non-profit located in Punta Uva, go to educate local youth on the importance of protection of this key species, and goes to its reintroduction into the wild.
